The hearing was opened at 7:00 PM by Commissioner Deb Shell, President

Roll Call – Commissioner Deb Shell, Commissioner Alan Curtis, Commissioner Wes Johnson

Chief JR Farnsworth, Assistant Chief Mark Brood

Alan Curtis presented the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget which had been published in the Idaho State Journal and on the website. The figures are as follows:

REVENUES

Base Property Tax $178,570

Permanent Levy Override $316,073

Fire Inspections/Permits/Fees $11,000

Base Sales Tax $4,000

Property Tax Replacement $2,253

Cash Forward Balance $500,000

Total Anticipated Revenues $1,011,896

EXPENDITURES

Business Expenses $500

Capital Purchases $350,000

Information Technology $10,000

Insurance – Liability, D&O $12,000

Personnel Costs $130,000

Professional Services $20,000

Travel/Meetings $6,000

Fire Department $275,000

Contingency Expense $208,396

Total Anticipated Expenditures $1,011,896

ACTION ITEM – A motion was made by Commissioner Curtis and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to approve the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget as published in the Idaho State Journal and on the website. The motion passed unanimously. No one from the public was present.

A motion was made by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Curtis to close the hearing at 7:02 PM. The motion passed unanimously.
